How cold is a blast freezer?

Most blast freezers reach -40°C, and many can go as low as -45°C. The ArcticBlast operates down to -45°C. This rapid deep freeze locks moisture and texture into the product, preserving quality. Standard freezers reach -25°C at best, which takes much longer to freeze the same load.

Did you know?

Many blast freezers operate at temperatures that are far colder than a household freezer. The goal is not just low temperature but moving products through the critical freezing zone as quickly as possible.
