Refrigerated containers for rent in London, Ontario
Chillers, freezer containers and heated stores to rent or buy in London, Ontario and the surrounding counties.
Cold storage container rental in London, Ontario
TITAN covers London and southwestern Ontario. When your chilled or frozen capacity runs out, we can bring more of it to your site rather than leave you to build it.
Renting rather than constructing is largely a question of commitment. A cold room locks in both your capital and your floor plan for the life of the building. A rented refrigerated container doesn’t need that kind of commitment and can be returned to us when you no longer need it. Our drivers deliver the unit, position it where the operation needs it and hand it over, ready to use.
Most units also arrive with a platform called SmartArctic pre-fitted, so remote monitoring, set point control and a full temperature record are ready and waiting from the moment your cold storage unit is turned on.
Any reefer container arriving at a London site comes with the TITAN seal of approval: it will be from our world-famous ArcticStore range, we’re experts in this field, and we have over 40 yards across Canada and the US.

A city that makes a lot of frozen food
London’s agri-food sector employs more than 7,500 people across over 120 companies, with particular strength in large-scale meat processing and frozen foods. That matters, because freezing at volume is unforgiving work. When production runs longer than planned, or a blast freezer goes down, the product doesn’t wait.
TITAN cold storage enquiries also come from:
- Bakeries, dessert makers and prepared-meal producers
- Breweries and beverage operations covering a seasonal peak or long-term capacity demands
- Supermarkets and distributors dealing with a refit or a breakdown
- Farms and produce businesses during harvest
- Hospitals, laboratories and clinics holding valuable temperature-sensitive stock
The best place to start? Choosing the right container size
Most people know roughly how cold they need to store at. Fewer have worked out how much space, so that’s the more useful place to begin.
- 10ft. The one for tight sites: a courtyard, a car park corner, a yard already full of something else. Takes four standard Euro pallets.
- 20ft. The common choice, at ten Euro pallets. Enough for a genuine capacity problem without dominating the site.
- 40ft. For bulk storage, longer campaigns and operations moving pallets rather than cases.
TITAN’s ArcticStore units cover all three sizes, and hold any set point between +45°C and -40°C. That range is why a single machine can work as a chiller through spring and as a freezer container in London by November. Our dimensions page has the exact figures if you’re measuring a gate or a loading bay.
Where a standard unit won’t do, we have other options. The ArcticBlast is a blast freezer in 20ft and 40ft, designed to drive heat out of a fresh batch within hours. The Arctic UltraFreezer reaches -75°C for clinical and laboratory material. The HotStore handles the warm end of the scale, up to +85°C.
There’s also the ArcticStore Horizon, a 40ft model with solar panels that uses roughly 55% less energy on average than a standard reefer container.

Delivery – and a quick tip about loading
Ahead of your delivery date, think about ground conditions, the route a truck has to take on your site, what sits overhead and the power supply. Our delivery guide covers all of it, and none of it is usually a problem.
Worth planning before the first pallet goes in: a container is long, narrow and has doors at one end only. That means whatever goes in first comes out last, which is the opposite of what most stock rotation requires.
If you’re holding dated product, decide your layout before you start loading rather than after, leave yourself an aisle you can walk down, and keep the oldest stock nearest the doors.
Rental terms, larger builds and buying options
Refrigerated container rental in London is usually measured in months; many clients lease on a rolling basis. Shorter periods are available where that genuinely suits the work; caterers, for example, sometimes rent for a few weeks.
If your capacity needs expand, a group of 20ft and 40ft containers can be assembled into an Arctic SuperStore. It’s a single open-plan cold room, custom-built at your premises and divided into separate temperature zones, as needed. We’ve created them up to 800m2 – and can go bigger. We also create two-storey modular cold rooms called Arctic MegaStores.
Refrigerated containers for sale in London and the surrounding counties are an option, too, and come from the same range. If owning outright suits you better than renting, ask us for details.
FAQs about Refrigerated Container Rentals in London
What are the standard rental terms and minimum commitment periods for refrigerated container hire in London?
