Our Toronto yard sits at 7050 Major Mackenzie Drive West in Kleinburg, around 15 miles northwest of downtown, which puts most of the GTA within an easy run for our drivers.

Choosing the right cold storage unit for the job
Every reefer container we rent in Toronto comes from our own ArcticStore collection. Each model does a different job:
- ArcticStore – our signature unit, in 10ft, 20ft and 40ft. It holds anything from +45°C down to -40°C, which covers most food, drink, pharmaceutical and industrial work.
- Arctic UltraFreezer – 20ft and 40ft, and it goes as low as -75°C. Twin compressors and extra insulation make it the choice for vaccines, biological samples and deep-freeze testing.
- ArcticBlast – 20ft and 40ft. A true blast freezer that strips heat out of the air fast, so meat, poultry, fish and fresh produce hit their target temperature quickly.
- HotStore – TITAN does heated storage, too, all the way up to +85°C. HotStore is great for chemicals, drying, curing and warming goods. Available in 20ft and 40ft sizes.
- ArcticStore Horizon – our greenest 40ft cooler, built around low-energy design and supplied with roof-mounted solar panels.
Not sure which one to pick?
Start with three things: what you’re storing, the temperature you need to hold and how much floor space it will take up. Our dimensions page sorts out the third one, and our team is happy to talk through the rest. There is no charge for asking, and no obligation.
When one unit is not enough
Plenty of Toronto fridge and freezer container clients need more than a single unit. For those, we can build an Arctic SuperStore – a modular cold room made from 20ft and 40ft units joined together into one open-plan space. It can be zoned for different temperatures, including blast freezing, and it goes up in days rather than months.
Where yard space is tight, the two-storey Arctic MegaStore stacks 40ft units to give you a great deal more volume on the same footprint.
A TITAN tip: grouping units together does more than tidy up your yard. Containers standing apart pick up solar heat from every side, while units joined side by side shield each other. Going modular can cut energy use by up to 40%.

Industries we serve across the Greater Toronto Area
Toronto is a serious food town. The Ontario Food Terminal in Etobicoke moves an average of 5.6 million pounds of produce a day, making it the largest wholesale fruit and produce distribution centre in Canada. Add over a thousand food and drink manufacturers across the region and you have a lot of businesses that can’t afford a gap in the cold chain.
Across Toronto, cold storage container rental clients include:
- Supermarkets and grocery chains covering seasonal peaks or a fridge breakdown
- Food and drink processors and distributors adding capacity mid-contract
- Growers, packers and agricultural businesses through harvest
- Pharmaceutical, life science and healthcare teams needing validated low temperatures
- Events, festivals and venues storing food and drink on site
- Manufacturers running cold or heat testing on components

Getting your unit onto site
Our containers are delivered on the back of a truck and set down by a TITAN driver, so the main thing to sort out beforehand is access and ground.
A few things worth checking:
- Firm, reasonably level ground where the unit will sit
- A clear path for the truck, with room to swing and reverse
- Space at the door end for loading, plus a little clearance for airflow
- Your power supply, which our team will confirm with you before delivery
Our delivery guide covers this in more detail. If you’re weighing up sizes, pallet counts or running costs, our cold storage FAQ is a good place to start.
Most units also come with SmartArctic, our remote monitoring and control platform. It lets you check temperatures, change set points, start a defrost and pull log files from anywhere – which beats driving across the city at 2 am to see if the alarm was real.
Rent for as long as you need, or buy outright
Refrigerated container rental is what most Toronto customers choose. It keeps the capital cost off the books, and you can hand the unit back when the season, the contract or the building work ends. Terms are flexible, and we won’t tie you into anything unreasonable.
If you need something permanent, we also have refrigerated containers for sale in Toronto and right across Ontario. Either way, the same team looks after you.
